About
Patrick Hoban is a photographer and editor based in Santa Monica, California, and the founder of Hoban Studios, a photographic studio serving the Westside and greater Los Angeles.
In his own words: "I am a LA based photographer who specializes in bringing character to your portraits." Over an extensive career, Patrick has photographed for a clientele ranging from film directors to major events, and has built a reputation for portraits that capture something true about the person in front of the lens.
Alongside his studio practice, Patrick works with Mattel as a digital artist and is a highly accomplished editor and retoucher, bringing a finishing eye to every image that leaves the studio. His portrait work is currently featured in the MAXIM Photography competition, where he holds first place in his group. See his entry and vote.
